Yesterday, I was playing online craps, and my friend Rob was teaching me his new advanced craps strategy. It was kind of difficult to catch onto it, though. There was a lot of complex maneuvering. At first, my friend explained about taking odds, which is pretty basic. After a while, though, I graduated to his advanced craps strategy. It involved using different bets to cancel each other out.

It’s so complex that while I’d want to post about his advanced craps strategy, I really can’t figure it out well enough to explain it. What I do know, though, is that the strategy worked. Over the course of a few hours, I turned a small profit. It wasn’t a lot, but I was certainly beating the house edge. Almost every roll of the dice either broke even or turned a profit.

The advanced craps strategy uses a system of hedging bets and doubling wagers. I think it’s a pretty good strategy, but I couldn’t understand all the complexities.

Rob told me, however, that there’s a problem with this advanced craps strategy. He said that in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, the croupiers know to watch for the strategy. If you play this strategy too long on any one table, you’ll be asked to leave.

Personally, I think it’s awful that casinos don’t allow players to win when they’re playing with a good strategy. I think that casinos should give players the opportunity to play their best. That’s one of the reasons that I prefer to play online rather than at land-based casinos. If I do play live, I like games like Texas Hold’em which allow me to play my best and win as much as possible. Either that or I like to play video poker, which has a very basic strategy, much easier to understand than the advanced craps strategy that my friend Rob was teaching me yesterday.
