Mathematic of baccarat gambling systems

There are a lot of paid and free baccarat systems on the Internet. But I’m not going to sell another helping of the out-of-work crap. I’ll try to tell you about the mathematics lying in the basis of this exciting gambling baccarat.

We’ll start by saying that baccarat is the game of chances. It’s a very simple card game and you will find nothing in it reminding the Standard System as in Black Jack. All you can influence in baccarat is the choice of casino, table and bets.

Let’s start with the bets. As the game can be played with different number of decks the results will differ. I’ll give the results’ variants for the games with 1, 6 and 8 decks.

8 decks

In baccarat we can place three different bets: banker, player, and tie bet. In this case casino will get the advantage of 1.06% on the banker bet, 1.24% on the player bet and 14.36% on the tie.

6 decks

The house edge will be 1.06% on the banker bet, 1.24% on the player bet, and 14.44% on the tie.

1 deck

The house edge will make 1.01% on banker bet, 1.29% on player bet, and 15.75% on tie.

Great! As we know that the house edge on the banker bet is the less in baccarat we will back for the banker, right? And for sure we will not back for the tie!

There is also a fee paid for the banker stakes. All the calculations are made with the consideration of 5% fee taken in most casinos. But if a casino takes less, we should open our account there. The fee of about 2.75% makes the house edge almost equal zero.

The grandees of online gambling are: Bodog Casino, Vegas Casino Online, Las Vegas USA Casino, Sun Palace Casino and Slots Plus, they take 5% fee.

Some players like counting cards, looking for trends and other stuff. But a good baccarat player always makes banker stakes and never counts cards.
