Donald Trump Fires Casino President

BodogBEAT:

Donald Trump gave himself the ultimate birthday present, firing his chief executive officer James B. Perry.

During his 61st birthday celebration at Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort on Saturday night, Donald Trump announced that James Perry has been let go from the executive position and will be replaced by the second in charge Mark Juliano.

James Perry, a former executive with Illinois riverboat casinos, came out of retirement in 2005 to become president of the Trump casinos group. Perry played a major role in the emerging of the company from the Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection filed in the same year, though the casino company has shown slower financial progress than expected since. Leading up to the firing, Trump had questioned Perry’s commitment because he split his time between Atlantic City and California, where his family lives.

Juliano will now become CEO of Trump’s Atlantic casino business, which includes Trump Plaza, Trump Marina and the Trump Taj Mahal. Want to play in a casino not owned by Trump? Head over to Bodog’s online casino, where you can play blackjack, online slot games, online poker and more!
